Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist - Full Time Day - Radiology
Under the medical direction of the radiologist(s) and the supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, this position requires the technologist to prepare equipment, position patients and produce radiographs. Responsible for the safety and condition of the patients while they wait for examinations. Provides care for all age groups.
New Hire Orientation required. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have attended an approved Radiologic Technology program and possess a Kentucky State Radiation License. Must be ARRT registered in Radiography
Other qualifications requested:
At least 1year experience in general Radiology
CT experience required, registry a plus- if not registered, need to be registry eligible within 6 months of hire date, and ARRT registered within one year of hire date.
Mammography experience not required at hire date. But must be willing to cross-train and be registered within 2 years of hire date. Days and shift hours to be determined based on the needs of the department.
