Ultrasound Tech - Full-Time - Radiology
JOB SUMMARY: Under the medical direction of the radiologist(s) and the supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, this position requires the technologist to prepare equipment before patient exam, scan and send any paperwork needed for all exams in PACS system, answer phones and schedule patients when not busy with patient procedures and perform other duties as assigned. Responsible for the safety and condition of the patients while they wait for examinations. Provides care for all age groups.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography registered. One-year experience in Ultrasound preferred. Experience with Echocardiogram preferred as well as breast imaging. BLS certification required.
