Byron Carden Trigg Hospital Employee of the Year

Byron Carden was named Trigg County Hospital's Employee of the Year during special ceremonies Tuesday, Feb. 24. Carden is a Maintenance Technician who has been employed at TCH for three years. His co-workers bestowed this honor upon him from among the 12 Employees of the Month recognized during 2014.

Many of Carden's co-workers expressed appreciation for his attention to details and for the renovation work that was done inside the hospital Cafeteria. In addition to Mr. Carden, Melissa Davies and Belinda Parker were honored for receiving numerous votes from their peers. Carden, Davies, and Parker are the hospital's "Top 3" individuals for 2014. Ms. Parker is a Dietary Services Aide, and Ms. Davies is a nursing manager.

The 2014 Employees of the Month in addition to Carden, Davies, and Parker are: Martha Blakeley, Jessy Litchfield, Jewel Woody, Lori Underhill, Deloris Burnam, Dwight Kennedy, Sheila Williams, Mae Bacon, and Andrew Rutherford.
As part of the special recognition program, Interim CEO David Shore thanked the honorees for their dedication and outstanding service to the patients and community. In addition, hospital Governing Board Chairman Dr. Michael Gross expressed his appreciation for the commitment and special care the staff perform every day.
